LUXURY WEDDING & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN SACRAMENTO, CA
Hi, I'm Nicola! Pronounced 'Nic-uh-la'.
Some photographers direct every moment. I prefer to disappear into yours. After eight years of photographing weddings, I've learned that the best photos aren't manufactured — they're found. I'll be beside you all day, quietly watching, and when you get your gallery back you'll wonder when I even took half of them.

Anna and Katie’s May wedding at Deer Park Villa was vibrant, joyful, and full of love. Set among the redwoods in Marin County, this iconic Bay Area wedding venue was the perfect backdrop for their colorful florals and intimate celebration. Their story began on a dating app while living in different cities, eventually leading to months of travel, a cross country road trip, and building a life together in California. I had the honor of photographing both their engagement session and wedding day. While their bernedoodle, Germ, couldn’t be there in person, he was there in spirit. From emotional redwood moments to a packed dance floor, their day was unforgettable.
My sweet friends are about to welcome their very first baby, and I was over the moon when they asked me to capture this special season. Since they just moved to the area, photographing them in the golden Folsom fields made their session even more meaningful.
Megan + Conor’s Estate Yountville wedding in June was summer perfection! Guests traveled from the East Coast to celebrate among the lush Napa vineyards. The reception was dreamy—green jewel tones and white florals, with gorgeous tablescapes, signage, and thoughtful favors. Guests enjoyed espresso martinis, late-night bites, and danced the night away to a live band. Between the heartfelt moments, beautiful details, and endless fun, it was truly a summer wedding to remember at Estate Yountville.

When you build your wedding day around the things that actually matter, the result is a celebration that feels authentic from beginning to end. For K & T, that meant spending quality time with their favorite people, sneaking away for golden hour portraits, changing outfits more than once (which we fully support) and making sure their beloved pup was part of the day.
