What a hidden gem! The Barns at Cooper Molera is a little oasis in Monterey, tucked just off the coast. The adobe is historic and dates all the way back to 1827! The Barns have been beautifully updated to host romantic and intimate events such as Nicole & Kyle’s summer wedding. This venue was a PERFECT backdrop for Nicole’s vision of jewel tones, greenery and soft candlelight. Can we just pause a second and look at all those floral and table details?! I tried to cull it down to a few of my faves but they truly need their own blog post.
I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole & Kyle a few months before their wedding day to take their engagement photos and learn a little more about their love story. With an intimate wedding guest list of just 50, they were really able to focus on the little things and spend quality time with each guest. Kyle spent the morning with family just across the road at Fieldwork Brewing while Nicole got ready with her girls. I was obsessed with her fairytale dress that she had customized along with their matching leather jackets. First look with dad was next and naturally a few tears were shed. After the ceremony, we were able to explore the adobe property and get some gorgeous, colorful photos in the gardens. Nicole then changed into the MOST FUN sequin/fringe party dress and the Rio’s donned their custom leather jackets to end the night with some dancing, cigars, and pizza.
As always, a successful wedding day is a team effort and these vendors went above and beyond:
