Checking out new places with old friends! I met Madeline when we first did our Lagree certification together and now two years later she’s engaged! Maddy and Rhyan opted for the extended engagement session so we could get two totally different looks and a variety of photos. We started at the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and it was so peaceful and stunning. We found a perfect little opening amongst the giant redwoods to get their session started. We then explored a little and took some moody shots on the slightly creepy railroad tracks.

For our second location, we headed to Shark Fin Cove, which was just a (harrowing) 30 minute drive away. This little gem of a cove is tucked under the cliffs off of Highway 1, and it’s pretty obvious where it gets its name once you are down there. The coastal fog can be so unpredictable but we were blessed with the most perfect, golden sunset.
