Katherine and Arnold’s love story is the perfect example of how sometimes the best things happen when you least expect it. They met on a dating app in the middle of the pandemic, during a time when everything felt uncertain. For their first date, it was actually Arnold’s first time leaving the house since the shutdown! Four years later, here they are, stronger than ever and getting ready to tie the knot.

We kicked off their engagement session in Sacramento, starting at the coziest cocktail bar called Snug. It had such a chill vibe, perfect for them to relax and have some drinks, and for us meet and get warmed up before their session. From there, we walked around the Capitol, which is one of the most iconic spots in the city. The mix of the grand buildings and the lush greenery made for the perfect backdrop for Katherine and Arnold’s laid-back, fun energy.

To wrap things up, we ended on top of a parking lot (I know, sounds random, but trust me, it’s a hidden gem!). The sunset views over the city were seriously breathtaking, and the golden light made for the most gorgeous photos
